Anxiety is part of our natural survival system. But if you experience it consistently, it can feel overwhelming and scary.
Anxiety and phobias can be linked to past negative experiences that get triggered in the present by certain situations or objects.
Ongoing anxiety, fears or phobias keep your mind and body in a constant state of alert, even when there’s no real danger.
I can help you to feel calmer and live more fully.
I can work with you, using EMDR therapy, to identify the root causes of your anxiety and help you to process difficult emotions and experiences, reducing their intensity and impact.
If you experience phobias e.g. of flying, or visiting the dentist, I use EMDR to help you process the experiences that led to these fears so they don’t stop you living a full life.
