Hello, I’m Lynda Foster – a psychotherapist, trauma specialist, and EMDR therapist – working across Nottingham, Derby, and online.
Perhaps you’re feeling overwhelmed and anxious. Or not good enough but you’re not sure why. Maybe you struggle to control your emotions. And feel unable to say no in relationships.
In practice I notice that challenges like anxiety, low self-esteem, trauma, or difficulties in relationships – are often linked to tough things people experienced as a child or adult.
I work with clients to gently uncover and process the life experiences affecting them today.
Through therapy I aim to help you feel calmer, more able to tolerate emotions and manage your responses, address fears about the future, and feel equipped to move forwards.
My approach includes evidence-based EMDR therapy and other techniques. EMDR is a psychotherapy that helps you to process emotions and experiences.
